I coloured her up with my Copics to coordinate with this pretty MME A Happy Heart 6x6 paper pad. I cut the image out with my Oval STAX 1 Die-namics. I used Viva Decor Transparent Gloss-Pen on the side mirror of her bike. I also made some canvas and felt flowers with the Die-namics Botanical Beauty and the Die-namics Flower Trio and Leaf Set. My Motorcycle Girl Image was perfect for this week's "Heavy Metal" theme and I have also used BasicGrey Epoxy metal brads in the centers of my flowers. I added a little bling and some ribbon from my stash to finish it off.

Today the MFT Designers are sharing previews of the NEW Clearly Sentimental About Anniversaries and  Big Greetings. I decided to ink up the CS about Anniversaries set, which is the April Triple Scoop.  When I saw this set I thought I would get a head start and make a card for my husband, Chris. We will celebrate 16 blissful years of marriage this August! I thought these colours in the MME Dilly Dally paper pad made for a more masculine card. I also used the fabulous NEW Jumbo Banner Day STAX Die-namics and the NEW Pinking Edge Die-namics...which I absolutely LOOVE!  I stamped and embossed one of the great sentiments from the NEW Clearly Sentimental About Anniversaries set on kraft card cut with the Clearly Sentimental Label Die-namics. I used American Crafts Zing Black Glitter Embossing powder to add a little sparkle and dimension to the sentiment. I cut the numbers with the By the Numbers Die-namics set and I added a little black bling and some Charcoal Twinery Twine to embellish.
Photobucket
Here is the inside...such a FUN sentiment...I thought it would be perfect for this card! My hubby, Chris has a great sense of humour and is always joking around which is one of the many things I love about him. I didn't want this card to be too mushy or serious...this was the perfect bit of comic relief!

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card using the great new Triple Scoop set for the April Release called Clearly Sentimental About Anniversaries! This is another must-have set for those anniversary cards! Swing on over to Kim's Blog to see all the other gorgeous samples using this great set and the Big Greetings set by the MFT Designers and don't forget to leave those comments!

Photobucket
Hello stampin' friends! It is MFTStamps, Wednesday Stamp Club time and once again we have a gorgeous sketch for you to try! You will have the chance to win up to $20 in MFT money. One winner is chosen at random each week!

So, I needed to make a birthday card for a friend and thought I'd use this adorable little Pure Innocence girlie called PI Cute-a-tude...love her pose with her hands on her hips...too cute! I coloured her up with my Copics and paper pieced her dress!
Photobucket
I have seen, MFTStamps DT member, Michele, add some extra dimension with her gorgeous paper piecing and I really love how it looks, so, I thought I would give it a go myself.  I stamped a second part of her dress and popped it up with a dimensional square.

Photobucket
Here is a closer look at the dimensional paper piecing. The papers are from a MME Dolled up 6x6 pad. I also used the Open Scallop Doily Die-namics and the sentiment is stamped on Kraft card cut with the NEW Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics, Available on April 3rd 10 PM EST. I used Joanne B.'s "cut and re-cut" technique on the sentiment so that the Fishtail Flag would be shorter to fit the card and sketch. I love that the new Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics emboss so beautifully too. I added some ribbon and a smattering of red half-pearls.

Photobucket
Here is the inside...pretty simple...I stamped the PI girlie again in Ladybug red Memento ink and used the Framed Greetings Die-namics and one of the sentiments from the Big Greetings Stamp set that was last months Triple Scoop and will be available in the April Release, on April 3rd 10 PM EST.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card! I really hope you will join us for the Wednesday Stamp Club. You can see the sketch over at Kim's blog and links to all the other gorgeous inspiration designed by the fab MFT DT!

For my card today I've coloured the Who's That Girl, Let's Grab Drinks image with my Copics and paper pieced her dress. The papers are from the Lily Bee Paper Head over Heals 6x6 paper pad.  I have also used the fabulous NEW Die-namics Fishtail Flag STAX, the mini Doily Circles and the Circle STAX 1 and Circle Stax 2. I love this fun sentiment that comes in the Let's Grab Drinks set and stamped it on white card cut out with the Die-namicsText Bubbles. I embellished with some pretty seam binding and a sprinkling of pink gems.
      Photobucket
Here is the inside...I used one of the other sentiments in the set and I used the Die-namics Fishtail Flags to cut out the sentiment banner. I cut it once and then turned the die-cut piece, placed it in the die again and ran it through my cuttlebug a second time. This way I have the fishtail cut on both ends making the banner. I Love that the Fishtail Flag Die-namics emboss as well!

Thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card featuring the Let's Grab Drinks Stamp set that will be available in the MFT April Release on April 3rd! My Favorite Things Stamps...Exciting News...So Excited I could Burst!!!

      Photobucket
Hello stamp' friends! Well, today I finally get to share some SUPER exciting news with you all!!! OMGosh...I am SO excited I could burst!!!! I was asked to join the My Favorite Things Stamps Design Team...Whoo hoo, Yippe, Yahooo!!!! I still can't believe it!!!  So, it just so happened that one day I  come home for lunch and the phone rang and I thought it must be a salesperson...one of those guys wanting to know if I need the ducts cleaned...I almost didn't answer it. Well, thank goodness I did and was I ever surprised to hear Kim and Jody, from MFT,  on the phone. I was totally shocked when they asked if I would like to join the MFT family. Well, of course I jumped at the chance!!! I have been a long time MFT fan and I just LOOOVE all things MFT!  I LOVE all the stamps, Die-namics and fabulous products like the gorgeous My Favorite felt and ribbons etc. I can hardly believe there is a cute little MFT tub watermark on my cards now....SO SO exciting!!!
      Photobucket
So I made this card especially for today's exciting announcement! I used some of my all time favourite papers BasicGrey Hopskotch 6x6 pad and teamed them up with this super cute Pure Innocence Girl from the set PI Blowing Bubbles.  I coloured the PI Girl with my Copics and paper pieced her top and skirt. I stamped a few of the bubbles around her with the bubble stamp that comes in the set. I inked around the image with Tumbled Glass Distress ink and added Stickles and Vivia Decor Transparent Gloss-Pen to the bubbles. If you visit my blog regularly, then you know I LOVE  lots of flowers on my cards and I have fallen in love with the various MFT flower Die-namics. This way, I can make my own customised flowers that co-ordinate perfectly with my card. On this card I have made my flowers from My Favorite Felt and canvas material with the Botanical Beauty Flower Die-namics and the Die-namics Flower Trio and Leaf set. I have added BG Hopscotch brads to the centres of some of the flowers and a BG Hopscotch epoxy brad to the centre of one flower. The sweet sentiment is from the PI Blowing Bubbles set I stamped it on Kraft cardstock and cut it out with the Chat Bubble Die-namics and used Joanne B's "Die-namics cut and re-cut" technique to make the bubble fit the text size....I love doing this. I also used the Die-namics Woodgrain Fence and to finish it off a little sprinkling of pink gems.
      Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped the PI girl again in Desert Sand Memento ink and I used the the Die-namics Framed Greetings and Stamp Set.

I am SO excited to be joining such a wonderful, friendly and talented group of ladies; that is the MFT DT! This is truly a dream come true!! I know I am going to have SO much fun on the MFT DT helping to showcase all the gorgeous MFT stamps and Die-namics!  Thanks for stopping by and having a wee peek at my very first MFT DT card!!!

      My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 63...Ruff Ruff!

      Photobucket
Hello stampin' friends! Just a quick post tonight to share the card that I made with this week's sketch for the My Favorite Thing Stamps WSC # 63! I got my new stamps today in the mail...love getting happy mail!!! So, when I got home I just had to ink up this sweet set, Pure Innocence Puppy Girl. I thought I'd make a card to co-ordinate with the kitty card I made using the Pure Innocence Purrfect.
      Photobucket
I used more of the same gorgeous MME Caroline Fiddlesticks paper...SO love this paper pad! Not sure if the colour on the pics is showing up right but the matting cardstock is a dark bluish-green not black.  I coloured the PI Puppy Girl with my Copics and inked with Pumice Stone Distress ink. I added some cotton trim, crinkled seam binding and a BasicGrey button with hemp twine and a few half-pearls here and there. For the sentiment I inked up just the word "Ruff" that is in one of the sweet sentiments in this set. I used the ribbon dies from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics set and I used the Mix and Match Banner Die-namics too. I also added a little sparkle to this card with my Sakura Stardust pen, a tiny pearl on her shoe with Viva Decor Pearl pen and I used the clear Viva Decor pen to add a little shine to her heart hair clip.

      Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped a shadow image of the PI Puppy Girl with London Fog Memento ink and used the Well Worn Greetings Die-namics and stamped another one of the sweet sentiments from this set on white cardstock cut with the Ribbon Die-namics.

Thanks SO much for stoppin' by and havin' a wee peek at my card for MFTWSC63!

Hope you have a stampin' great week!

For my card I have used this sweet stamp called Daisy Mae. I thought she would look pretty in a pink tutu. I coloured her with my Copics and cut her out using the "Out of the Box" technique, I embossed the image and then used the Oval Nestibilites Die as a stencil and inked with Tumbled Glass Distress ink. The sketch called for a scalloped edge on the horizontal panel but I used my Perfect Bracket Edge Die-namics instead. I also added a little stamped stitching with my Kelly Panacci Stitching stamps and Brushed Corduroy Distress ink.  I added lots of pink half-pearls and stamped the sentiment that comes with Daisy on patterned paper cut with the larger ribbon Die from the First Place Awards Ribbon Die-namics.

      Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped Daisy again with Pink Memento ink...she is very faint though. I used one of my fave KKS sentiments from Kimmie's Everyday Sentiment set and stamped it on the papers cut with the Layered Labels Die-namics.

      My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 62....I'm Lucky...!

      Photobucket
Hello Stampin' friends! Just a quick post tonight to share the card I made for the MFTWSC62...such a great sketch this week!

I thought this card by MFT Designer Frances was SUPER cute and I just loved how she had the PI Cute-a-tude girlie poppin' in on an angle on the side panels. Well, Frances inspired me to make this "cute" version of a St.Patrick's day card....(my daughter, Hannah, said this is her, me and my Mum (Nana) 3 Irish girls...well, my mom is only Irish by marriage, lol, but she is a redhead.)
      Photobucket
I used my Pure Innocence 4 Leaf Clover girl and stamped 3 wee Irish Pi Girls as St. Patrick's day is on Saturday.  I coloured them up with different hair colours and paper pieced there outfits. The papers are from the We R Memory Keepers Cotton Tail 6x6 paper pad. I stamped part of one of the cute sentiments from the set on the white card, cut with the ribbon die from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics.
      Photobucket
Here is the inside...I then stamped the other part of the sentiment for the inside.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card for this week's MFTWSC sketch # 62. Now, I am off to make a tea and watch Castle.

      Crafty Hugs,

      Photobucket

For my card I have used Lil' Spanish Lolita Willow. I absolutely love her to bits. I decided to paper piece her gorgeous dress. You might think it is too difficult to paper piece a digi image but it is actually quite easy to do. I just printed out a copy of Willow on regular copy paper after I printed her on the my Copic paper. I adhered the patterned paper from the My Minds Eye On the Bright Side 6x6 paper pad over the image on the copy paper with re-positional adhesive and then ran it through the printer again. Now that then image is printed on the patterned paper, I cut out the dress, inked the edges with chalk ink, added some shading with my Copic T1 marker, then I adhered it with 2 way liquid glue. I also coloured a second pair of Willow's hands and cut them out and adhered them over the patterned paper dress.  I love adding some sparkle to my images with my Sakura Stardust pen and I just spread it around with my finger to soften the sparkle.  I cut the MFT Jumbo Monarch Border Die-namics die from Kraft cardstock but I used the negative portion of the die this time as it is as pretty as the positive. To embellish I added some cotton lace trim, Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, some twine and a smattering of half pearls, here and there.

      Photobucket
Here is the inside....I re-sized Willow and printed her on the white cardstock. I used another sentiment from the MFT Finishing Flourishes set and used the Layered Labels Die-namics and the Clearly Sentimental label Die-namics.

Well, thanks SO much for hopping by to see my card with Lil' Lolita Spanish Willow. Please hop on over to Yani's blog and see what wonderful inspiration she has in store for you! Then be sure to pop by the Tickled Pink Stamps shop where all the March Lil' Lolitas are now available!

Hope you have a crafty day!!!
