Today we are sharing cards with the NEW Fred the Bear and the Pinwheel and the NEW Inspired by Travel stamps sets! I'm sharing a card that I made with the super sweet Fred the Bear and the Pinwheel and I teamed him up with this great paper, MME On the Sunny Side, 6x6 pad. I really enjoyed colouring Fred...he sure is a cutie. I coloured Fred with my Copics and added in some grass with my Prismacolor Pencils.  I cut the image and a mat with my RECTANGLE STAX 1and 2 Die-namics and inked in some sky with Tumbled Glass Distress ink.  I also used the fabulous New Hexagons Die-namics...this is such a versatile Die-namics set and you can achieve a full pattern of Hexagons, which is very on trend right now, or as I have done here, use it as a border element. I used the OVAL Tab Die-namics and curved one of the cute sentiments to fit the tab. The heart is from the MFT Pretty Pocket Stamps and Die-namics set.

Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped an image of Fred the Bear and the Pinwheel and I inked up a portion of another one of the sentiments from this set and stamped a few more hearts from the Pretty Pocket Stamp and Die-namics set. The sentiment is stamped on a tag cut with the fantastic NEW Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics. I cut a second tag from Kraft card and attached them with a brad for a little spot to write a private note or a little hidden message.

Well, thanks so for taking a spin by and having a wee peek at my card today featuring the NEW Fred the Bear and the Pinwheel. Now take a spin over to Kim's blog for links to all the MFT Designers with cards to share today with NEW Fred the Bear and the Pinwheel or the NEW Inspired by Travel stamps set(s). Also, be sure to leave all the girls a comment. There are two $10 prizes awarded for each day of Teasers.

Have a Stampin' Great Day!

My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 74...ALM - You're a Racket!

Photobucket

Hello stampin' friends! Glad you could swing by today! We're set to get sketchy with MFTWSC this week! To join the fun just make a card or creation with the sketch and upload it to the SCS using the proper keyword, MFTWSC74 by Tuesday, June 5th at noon EST, for your chance at our weekly prize! The lucky winner will receive a $15 gift voucher and if the winner uses MFT stamps, they will receive $5 in bonus bucks, for a total of $20!!!

For my sketch I decided to ink up this cutie, ALM I've Met My Match...can you believe she hadn't seen ink before now. So, I thought I would team her up with this fabulous Echo Park This & That Graceful, 6x6 paper pad...I just love this paper...such pretty colours! I coloured my ALM girlie with my Copics, paper pieced her and I actually paper pieced the inside portion of the racket with the green paper so that it looks like you can see through the racket to give a more realistic look.

I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics to get the long narrow rectangle, like in the sketch, and just trimmed off the fishtail portion of it. I also used my Circle STAX Die-namics, Simply Scalloped border Die-namics and the Chat Bubble Die-namics for the sentiment...such cute sentiments in this set. I used some gorgeous MFT Grosgrain ribbon in Bubblegum that I got from, Kim, when I visited the MFT Boutique in Florida a few weeks ago...this ribbon is SO scrumptious...LOOOVE it!

Here is the inside...pretty simple...a shadow image of the ALM I've Met My Match Girl and the sentiment is from the Big Greetings Sentiment set.

Well, thanks SO much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card with the fabulous sketch that we have this week. To see more fabulous creations using the sketch visit Kim's Blog with links to all the MFT Designers with creations for you too!

Happy Stampin'!

I have made two cards with this fabulous NEW Who's That Girl and Who's That Guy Godspeed set. The first card I've used the WTGuy Solider image in the set and Authentique Loyal 6x6 papers. I paper pieced the image and coloured with Copics. So, I'm from a town with a Canadian Air Force base and many of my friends' and classmates' parents where in the Air Force. I even did a very short stint as an Air Force Cadet...very short:)...I made my card with an Air Force "feel" to it and love that this New Godspeed set can really be designed to work for any of the Forces; Air, Army or Navy. I used the By the Letters Uppercase Die-namics to spell out RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force). I've also used several new Die-namics from this new June release...the NEW Notched Border Die-namics, the NEW Star STAX Die-namics and the NEW Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics. The airplane die is from the You Move Me Die-namics set. I embellished with some black bling and hemp twine.

Here is the inside...another image stamped on pattern paper and the Notched Border Die-namics, Star STAX and Traditional Tag STAX.

For the second card I have used the other image in the set WTG/G Godspeed. I coloured my images with my Copics and paper pieced her dress and the background. I used Authentique Glory 6x6 paper pad and distressed the edges of the papers and applied Distress Crackle Paint in Picket Fence White. I used the Layered Heart Die-namics set and the gorgeous NEW Hibiscus Die-namics...my new fav flower.
Photobucket

The Godspeed set also has many wonderfully poignant and heartfelt sentiments in it...on the front I have stamped a sentiment on the ribbon die from the first place award ribbon Die-namics. I also used some MFT Twinery Twine in Denim and Maraschino.
Photobucket

Here is the inside...I stamped a shadow image on pattern paper and used a corrugated heart from the Hearts of Plenty Die-namics that is painted with Crackle paint. The sentiment is stamped on pattern paper cut with fantastic NEW Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics.

Well, Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card featuring the Who's that Girl/Who's that Guy Godspeed stamp set. Now make you way to Kim's blog for links to all the MFT Designers with cards to share featuring this New WTG/G Godspeed stamp set!

Happy Stampin'!
